Where the kindness where the humanity in David Cocks Q C Javert to his son? Does greed personify his actions or pure cruelty ?

David Cocks Q C stonewalled his son
He said "I couldnt care less" when Sir Derek Spencer Solicitor General told him his son was on a life support machine "Ill never see him and no-one can make me.I couldnt care less."as he finished his champagne and went off in his big car to his country estate to fox hunt on his big ginger horse. He denied paternity on oath though he confessed the years affair with his young orphan pupil to Derek his cruelty to his son to child shocked Sir Derek a moral human being.
"The peasants of the Asturias believe that in every litter of wolves there is one dog, which is killed by the mother, lest on growing up it should devour the other little ones. Give a human face to this dog son of a wolf, and you will have Javert."
(Hugo, 148)
"He would have arrested his father if escaping from the
galleys, and denounced his mother for violating her ticket of leave. And he would have done it with that sort of interior satisfaction that springs from virtue.... a fierce honesty, a marble-hearted informer, Brutus united with Vidocq."
(Hugo

But would he have said he couldnt care less if his son was on a life support machine and gone off to slaughter foxes for fun for sport.David Cocks let his son grow up without a father always hurting him always excluding him never hugging him never giving love or affection let alone a christmas card or a warm by his fire.He was never allowed to see his granparents though his older step children were loved and cherished by David Cocks welcome inhouse and home helped with their careers and allowed to bring step granchildren in while he said "I couldnt care less "when his baby son was on a life support machine told by Sir Derek, when his childs mother an orphan had no money because he abandoned her for refusing an abortion for the sake of his care, she was his pupil and orphan with no home wandering the streeets to find a room, because her landlord through her out for having a baby.He laughed in her face.Youve made your bed now lie in it,youve wrecked my life(for not having an abortion,if I ever see you again Ill wreck yours. He called her "old fish Face" to Peter carter who she had kindly introduced by reference to Cocks as a pupil master,in return though he greeted her when he saw her Peter carter was heard by Sir Derek Spencer to be listening When David Cocks planned to ward the child hed never met to stop him going to a decent school Hill House. He lost after trying to ward the child.Nicholas Wilson doing the case for nothing,he was so appalled by david Cocks Conduct.David Cocks had denied paternity on oath though admitted the years affiar to Sir Derek in secret,Derek gave this evidence noble derek.David Cocks only gave £16.24p a week deducting the tax after £25 a week had been granted .He was according to Hansard the 6ht richest pros.barrister earning hundreds of thoudands a year. His son had no garden David Cocks had 2 huge home and 200 acrea of walking land and horses .He gave his farm away to his second wife to stopp his son being able to ever get any inheritance so he told a schocked court but keep the farm business to off set tax .The head of the family division called him "a hard and determined man" and said the" widom of the mother is unassailable" how he raged at this and sought to get the case out of the magistrates court into the county court, which is better for men and a single poor mother feels the macho hand of the law the affiliation court was a court of human rights for women swift abd fair and less able for men to wriggle from in my view, rich men like lots of lawyers and a squirming terrified womean especially if shes refused to abort his unwanted child and loves the child he has abandoned.
Hugo portrays Jean Valjean as a victim in Les Miserables, and characterizes Javert as a figurehead of authority: the evil force responsible for Valjean's despair and broken spirit while he is imprisoned. As the quote above illustrates, Hugo definitely felt that authority unfairly targeted the impoverished, like Valjean. But who is this policeman exactly, and how is authority characterized within him? His name is Javert...Javert is portrayed as a ruthless, totalitarian force in Les Miserables.

For example, when he drags Fantine out of the town square, kicking and screaming, he pulls her away and says absolutely nothing. Despite her pleas for "mercy", his decision is unwavering and final. He has no pity for the woman with the child, but at least it is not his own child surely something would stirr in him some pity

  1. How silly can this father be
Not to invite his son to tea
Instead to flounce about his land
    Feeling splendid feeling grand
"A fellow never was like me
With limbs so marvelous gait so free,
    A pillar of society.
A little cruelty here and there
Makes the boredom less to bear"
His eyes did sparkle, tossed his hair,
"You see the marvellous clothes I wear,
Flung carefully on without a care.
I really am a marvellous toad
I like my cars to hog the road
I like to hoot I like to shout
And leave my little offspring out
Because you see I have to tend
The children of my last best friend
So Tally Ho Ill gallop off
I really am a splendid toff
Ill watch him scrim and wear torn boots
That noise,oh pardon me my hoots,
But please oh please dont think me crass
    A relative molecular mass
An angels voice an angels grace
And handsome gait and handsome face
I really am a marvellous toad
So now I'm off to hog the road
They all love me I think you know
From my proud face to little toe
I'm rich and famous wild and free
And what I love is ME ME ME
And now I'm of to have my tea
And if I have a child in pain
Well really that is just my gain
I like to squabble like to hurt
And treat my youngest son like dirt
I play a very cunning plot
And say Im marvellous when Im not
For even I know that its bad
For cruel rejection from a dad
To keep him from my great big farm
To hurt his feelings do him harm
But now I simply must away
    To have another splendid day
Ive things to do all good for me
But first of all I'll have my tea.

Should realise that humanity is what counts but does not

Shameful of David Cocks Q C and then pretending he fought to see his child he fought to avoid it what he fought for was to exclude his son from a decent home a quiet child hood inclusion in his father hearth and home,he derided him with exclusion impoverised him with no money for the first year of his life then a miserly £16.24pence a week, refused to see him, telling the court he'd think about it saying he didnt want access, marrying his best friends wife and spoiling them and loving them to bits this afterhaving refused to help and see his son when as a baby he was on a life sport machine struggling with every breath and now he pretends that he wanted access while secretly writing to Robin Cocks "there is no future in seeing"his son.He doesnt even send his son a card on his birthday while giving the groom who looks after his horse a gold broach bar to wear,he fought hook line and sinker to diminish and humiliate the mother of his child his young orphan pupil because she refused to abort his child who is shameful who is a disgrace to humanhood a disgrace to father hood one of the richest cruellest fathers who has never hugged his child kissed him ,but excluded and humiliates him, even denying paternity on oath, accusing her of having given life to his child against his wishes when he wanted him killed before birth, and then givining all his paternal love and attention to hi middleaged step children who he had nutured with afftion since their birth .Has this man no shame no manhood and he decries the mother for not be totally suppressed by his devious bullying he doesnt care tupence about his son just himself his glorious self and those who will support his ego by telling him like a baby its not his fault. He doesnt see his son becuase he endorse the evil that allows some men or low paternal morality to cruely reject their sons.Jarvert!

  5. I saw this " From Private Eye.
    "Hallo !
Brilliant Barrister David Cocks Q , hero of the Roger Levitt fraud trial in which he led for the crown, has been in court again-on his own behalf. Sadly for David whose many admirers hope will soon don a judges robes, the decision went the wrong way.
He was in court over the long standing matter of maintenance for his lovechild, born to his former pupil barrister, Felicity. The original order for maintenance was for £25,from which he decided to deduct tax ,leaving the child with £16.24p a week. After more than a decade the mother applied to increase the maintenance, At Marylebone Magistrates court she applied to have the order increased and for it to extend until the end of the boy’s fulltime education.
Mr Cocks opposed this and appealed to the higher court. Joanna Dobson QC ,submitted that “The father has used his advantageous financial position to engage in litigation which is wholly misguided, which may have had as its purpose the intimidation of the mother.” The High Court Judge hearing the appeal decided to award indemnity costs-the highest level possible-against poor old David!
luckily he is not in the same league as those errant fathers who are pursued by the child support agency. David owns a £500,000 house in North London, a £3000 race horse, and still has a few coppers left over to take part in some modest pheasant-shooting and stag and fox hunting.

Things worked out well for the father able to leave both the mothers of his children and run off with his best friends wife
well met by moonlight oh Horatio
